The lawsuit brought against the Museum of the American Railroad by the City of Dallas following its decision to move to Frisco has been dismissed. Judge Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court ordered dismissal of the suit today after both parties agreed to a settlement.
Filed in January of 2010, the suit alleged trespassing and public nuisance by the Museum at its 48-year location in Fair Park. “We’re glad to finally have this behind us. The Museum can now devote all of its resources to constructing its new home and moving to Frisco,” said William Brotherton, the Museum’s attorney.
