Winter Walking Tour Schedule Announced!

Looking for something fun and unique to do this winter?  Walking Tours of the Museum's rolling stock site will be available each Wednesday - Friday at 1pm and Saturdays at 11am & 1pm October 3 through February 28.  As we complete future phases of construction, the Museum will add additional days and times to the schedule.  

Special Added Holiday Tours Include:
Friday, December 21 - 11:00am & 1:00pm
Saturday, December 22 - 11:00am, 12:00pm, & 1:00pm
Wednesday, December 26 - 1:00pm
Friday, December 28 - 11:00am & 1:00pm
Saturday, December 29 - 11:00am, 12:00pm, & 1:00pm

Please note, self-guided tours are not available at this time.  Tours will begin on time.  Please be prompt.  We make every effort to accommodate our guests and begin tours on time.  Late arrivals may be subject to being scheduled for the next tour.  Groups of 15 or more, please phone ahead.

 

Please phone ahead (214) 428-0101 to check the status of the tour schedule in the event of inclement weather.  Tours will last approximately 45 minutes and will originate at the Frisco Discovery Center (8004 N. Dallas Pkwy., Frisco, TX 75034) - just adjacent to the Railroad Museum.  Please pay admission at TrainTopia inside the Frisco Discovery Center.  

 

Note:  Site tours are entirely outdoors and involve walking and some climbing.  The Museum site is still under construction and accessibility is limited.  For those who may have mobility concerns, please contact a member of the Museum staff prior to your visit.  We will make every effort to accommodate your needs during periods of construction.  Please dress comfortably for outdoor activity, including closed toe shoes, coats, hats, sunscreen, etc.  We encourage you to bring bottled water and be mindful of hydration.  Please contact the Museum prior to your tour if you have questions or requests. 

 

Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12.  Combo tickets for TrainTopia and Walking Tours are available online at the link below.  Combo ticket admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12.
